JOHANNESBURG – The moment matriculants have been waiting for has finally arrived.
The class of 2024 begin their final matric exams on Monday.
Over 880,000 pupils will sit for this year’s exams.

The Basic Education Department Is urging matriculants to avoid distractions like social media during this period.
Governing Body Foundation CEO, Anthea Cereseto, said an enormous amount of work was put in to catch up.
“There’s been a big push, the final push to help them with study techniques,” she said
